Grounded for Life

B2B recently finished a very cool and inspiring project for Stevens Aviation. This demonstration cockpit holds fully functioning avionics but will never leave the tarmac since it doesn’t have wings. In addition to flight demonstrations, the cockpit was also designed to demonstrate Stevens’ continued support of American troops and their families. This sentiment is shared by the whole B2B team and we were proud to help out.

Stevens Aviation is an aircraft service provider offering expertise in the areas of: maintenance, modification and refurbishment, sales and management, flight services, and fixed base operations. Stevens will display the cockpit at its headquarters in Greenville and various avionics tradeshows throughout the year.

Look closely… During the creative process our artists elected to cut this design for Hendrick Honda from a metallic silver vinyl. This simple but effective detail makes an even bigger impression on our client’s Charlotte-based consumers, especially on a sunny day.

Bojangles is Cruisin’ Across SC

B2B Media was proud to team up with Erwin-Penland Advertising and Bojangles this month for the restaurant’s new “Cruisin’ South Carolina” project.

CU-ICAR Shuttle

This full van wrap for Clemson University was designed, produced and installed by B2B Media in early October. The van will be used to shuttle students from the Clemson campus to a state-of-the-art facility 40 miles away in Greenville, SC. The Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) is an advanced-technology research campus where academic, industry and government organizations engage in synergistic, automotive collaboration. We hope our sleek design helps to stimulate the brain waves.

B2B Media Digs a Little Deeper

B2B Media was recently approached by Blanchard CAT to design two wraps (in the spirit of college football season) that would be showcased at an annual Goodwill event entitled “Big Dig”. The “Big Dig” is a temporary construction theme park featuring over 50 pieces of heavy machinery for children and parents to ride, operate and explore. This year’s event showcased wheel loaders, bulldozers, front loaders, excavators and two very colorful multi-terrain loaders (MTL’s).

B2B Media's CFO Behind Bars for Good

B2B Media’s CFO, Laura Hortis, got locked up this week. Her crime? According to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, she had a big heart. Laura happened to be one of the many Greenville community leaders selected by the MDA to raise money for Jerry’s Kids in their annual “Lock Up” fundraising event. Each year area business leaders are “arrested” for the day and together they raise funds to support children suffering from muscular dystrophy by providing much needed medical assistance, supplies, information, and support. The B2B team is very proud of Laura’s dedication to supporting our community and applaud her for surviving time spent in the slammer… though we’re equally glad she’s back in the office tending to the employee payroll!

B2B Media Rocks the Boat

B2B Media completed the installation of a unique boat wrap for FLW Outdoor/Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League angler S. Daryl Fontana, Jr. Fontana is sponsored by FATZ Cafe, a southeastern restaurant chain headquartered in Upstate South Carolina. The wrap was designed in conjunction with Fontana, FATZ Cafe and Erwin-Penland Advertising. The boat will make its competitive debut on June 13, 2009 at the Wal-Mart BFL South Carolina Division Clarks Hill Tournament.

“It’s just incredible,” Fontana said of the wrap, “Like I’ve got a new boat! And the work is impeccable. Just unbelievable.”

FATZ Cafe became Fontana’s official sponsor on April 1, 2009. Fontana hopes to earn enough tournament points this season to secure himself (and his B2B-wrapped boat) a spot on the Pro Bass Fishing Circuit next year.
